Emma Staff participates in UNOPS training on GBV and PSEA

United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) and the Iraq Internally Displaced Persons Information Center (the IDP Call Centre) have organized a three-day training from 21th to the 23th of February 2017 on Gender Mainstreaming and the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) for humanitarian staff and community workers working in Gender and Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA) areas in which Emma organization's staff has participated in it along with many organizations from different parts of Iraq.

The training aimed to enhance participant’s knowledge and develop their capacities in areas related to Gender, Gender Mainstreaming, SEA, PSEA and Information Sharing vs Accountability as well as contextualised to the needs of the emergency in Iraq, including the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and was relevant to the Call Centre’s operations and its role as the main complaints clearing house for the PSEA Iraq Task Force.
