Displaced women receive a Cooking course in Duhok

Emma Organization has conducted a cooking course on how to make sweets for displaced women and ISI survivors in Dawoodiya camp in Duhok on the 6th of August 2018.

Cooking as a therapy is effective because it promotes creativity and makes people feel good about themselves because it’s a way for them to give others…cooking or baking are used by our staff at Emma Organization as tools for people suffering from depression, anxiety and other mental-health problems where it can decrease their stress level.

These activities are also created to teach women how to receive a financial benefit from making different kinds of things.
