Today, on September 25, 2018 Hawkary center finished handcraft training for 30 children, which lasted one month and a half. The training course beneficiaries were children in various ages, who came from different backgrounds.
The aim of this course was to support children in their summer holiday. As one the Emma organization targets encouraging people to enhance their skills in vocational sector.
The training course was led by a women volunteer, who desired to be involved in such kind of activities for children. “ in the beginning, they did not know how to cut a pad. Fortunately, they gradually used to make wonderful patterns”, the trainer stated. With the end of the course, they looked happy, and took pictures with their hand made samples. the children looked back their beginning days, and shared their experiences during the training course. It was clear in their eyes how boastful they were.
It is a fact that a child’s imagination has no limits. They can explore their minds through arts and crafts, turn it into something productive. Arts and crafts encourage kids to be creative and innovative, which could further nurture other artistic talents.
